Hello, I am new to LibreOffice. What do I need to do to solve this? Answers are to respond to original question. I ran a script to install Base on my LibreOffice install. I solved this way on Linux, but it should be the same on Windows:

Once I reset that in safe mode, normal functionality was restored, and Java became visible again. Had same problem with earlier versions – 5. I tried changing them with Dolphin, Dolphin baae root and using chmod but they still remain greyed out. Sun, 15 Jun – 6: Can you create a new embedded Base file?

I get the following error message: Check out the FAQ! If MySQL is installed locally, no problem. Java not showing up was simply one of the many sour symptoms. It’s kind of disheartening. This is now urgent and I must get an answer to this. I have one computer where I do all of the updating to the databases generally.
I ran a script to install Base on my LibreOffice install. There are other back-ends that might be better if you are going for a larger database libreoffce HSqlDb is quite good and very fast if the database is going to be fairly small.

The type of data base??? Can’t say this is the problem, but it wouldn’t be the first time even this year.
I am not a power user and just created the data base s with the databases residing on my Libreoffive. I recently upgraded to 5. As you can see, information in important in determining what the problem may be.
