Well folks, Thanks to a helpful person on this Forum who sent me a link to the version 14 x64 driver I was all set to try a second time to upgrade to Win I had a upgrade today from Windows 7 to Windows 10, after three hours of waiting it was finally done but there was the one and only problem: I didn’t have anything on this machine worth keeping. I went to Dell website and downloaded driver R for my specific Service Tag. New 21 Jul 1.

I’m having trouble with the Internet and Windows What changed between the first non-working and second working Win 10 installs? I installed Win 10 and had no wired Network access. Win 10 said it had already downloaded and was ready to install It installed and wired Internet is working. Blames my computer for running too slow?

Well an update was downloaded and installed Not a help error message goto Dells site enter your tag number and see if there is an updated driver or firmwware. Hope this helps I also found this nasty glitch but luckily for me my Dell Latitude D had a wireless driver that was compatible so I did like you said and sure enough that driver did the trick now I am back on Ethernet.

HP Envy OS: It was using I had to reninstall Windows 10 but that did the trick ;- Now the computer is up and running well ;- And the ethernet connection works again! Did this solve your problem?
