Basically ndisgtk does it for you, I don’t want to go as far as saying it automates the process, but it definitely helps you. If it is not in the man pages or the how-to’s this is the place! You need to get the Windows drivers from the Netgear web site; however, before you do that, I’m pretty sure that there is a Linux driver for that device. Also, one last bit of advice There are literally hundreds of postings on netgear wg511v2 linux topic and none of them worked except this one- which was a walk in the park.
